>> How to install patterns/textures Welcome to the "How to use install patterns" tutorial. Here, I will do my best to explain how to install patterns and use them in Adobe Photoshop CS2.First, open the pattern you want in Photoshop. Go to the Edit menu and select Define Pattern. A little window popped up, with your pattern minimized to the left and a space for a name. Type the name you want your pattern to have (or you can leave the original name, it has no importance whatsoever). And hit OK. Using patterns is the same as using textures.
